Create an InMobi Campaign


The following document defines the process for creating an InMobi campaign within Kochava.

 

Data Needed Before Beginning Process:

  • InMobi Property ID.

 

Use Cases for an InMobi Campaign:

  • An app marketing campaign with InMobi has been created.

Create an InMobi Campaign

  1. Log in to Kochava.
  2. Select the desired app.
  3. Select App Tools>Campaign Manager.
  4.  

     

  5. Click Add a Campaign.
  6. Enter a unique Campaign Name.
  7. Enter the Default Destination URL.
  8. Click Submit.

NOTE: The Destination URL is the resulting page an end user sees when an ad is clicked.

 


Create a Segment

  1. Select Campaign Tools>Add a Segment.
  2.  

     

  3. Enter a Segment Name.
  4. Enter a Segment Description. (optional)
  5. Click Submit.

 


Create a Tracker

  1. Select Segment Tools>Add a Tracker.
  2.  

  3. Enter the Tracker Name.
  4. NOTE: When a Tracker is created, Kochava automatically generates a name for the Tracker. We recommend that you replace the Tracker name at this point with a clear name of your choosing

  5. Select Tracker Type>Acquisition. (default setting)
  6. Select a Media Partner.
    1. InMobi – Android
    2. InMobi – iOS
  7. Select an Agency Partner. (optional)
  8. Select the Destination URL Type:
    1. Custom
    2. Google Referrer (Android Only)
    3. Landing Page

    NOTE: For more information on creating and using Landing Pages, refer to our Landing Page Creation and Maintenance support documentation.

  9. Enter Custom Parameters. (optional)
  10. Enter Price Type and Target Pricing. (optional)
  11. Click Save. (If no further trackers need to be created).
  12. Click Save & Add Another Tracker. (If additional trackers need to be created).

Create a Postback Configuration

  1. Select App Tools>Partner Configuration.
  2.  

     

  3. Click Add a Configuration.
  4. Select a Network Partner>InMobi.
  5. Click Go.
  6.  

     

  7. Select Install>Postback Tools>Edit.
  8. Enter the InMobi Property ID. (obtained from InMobi)
  9. Select the Impression Conversion Delivery.
  10. Select the Delivery Delay.
  11. Select the number of Retry Attempts.
  12. Select the Delivery Method.
