Create a Snapchat Partner Campaign


The following document defines the process for creating a Snapchat partner campaign within Kochava.

Data Needed Before Beginning Process:

  • Valid Snapchat partner account
  • Snapchat App ID (Adquant Snap)
  • Endpoint (Adquant Snap)
  • App Name (Bidalgo Snapchat)
  • Mob Channel ID (Bidalgo Snapchat)

Use Cases for a Snapchat Partner Campaign:

  • An app marketing campaign with a Snapchat partner has been created.

NOTE: A Snapchat proper campaign must be setup before a Snapchat partner campaign will function properly. For more information about setting up a Snapchat campaign, refer to our Create a Snapchat Campaign support documentation.


Create a Snapchat Campaign

  1. Log in to Kochava.
  2. Select the desired Account and App.
  3. Select Engagement > Campaign Manager.

Feature Note: To add this menu item to your Favorites Menu, select the “+” sign that appears when you hover over the menu. The Features Menu provides quick access to your most frequently visited areas of the Kochava UI.

  1. Click + Add (Tracker) or Select Segment Tools () > Add Tracker.

NOTE: As Snapchat is a SAN , Kochava does not handle the click redirect therefore a Destination URL is not required.

  1. Enter the Tracker Name.

NOTE: When a Tracker is created, Kochava automatically generates a name for the Tracker. We recommend that you replace the Tracker name at this point with a clear name of your choosing.

  1. Select Tracker Type > Acquisition. (default setting)
  2. Select Media Partner:
    1. Adquant Snap
    2. Amobee – Snapchat
    3. Sprinklr – Snapchat
    4. Brand Networks – Snap
    5. Bidalgo – Snapchat
  3. Select an Agency Partner. (optional)
  4. Enter the Install Destination URL.
  5. Enter a Deep Link. (optional)
  6. Enter Custom Parameters. (not required)
  7. Click Save. (If no further trackers need to be created).
  8. Click Save & Add Another Tracker. (If additional trackers need to be created).
  9. Click Save & Create Postback. (To navigate directly to the Partner Configuration page).

Create a Postback Configuration

NOTE: For the Snapchat partner postback configuration to function properly the partner Add Account ID must be entered into the Snapchat proper postback. For more information about setting up a Snapchat postback, refer to our Create a Snapchat Campaign support documentation.

  1. Select Apps & Assets > Partner Configuration.

  1. Click Add a Configuration.
  2. Select Network Partner:
    1. Adquant Snap
    2. Amobee – Snapchat
    3. Sprinklr – Snapchat
    4. Brand Networks – Snap
    5. Bidalgo – Snapchat
  3. Click Save.

Adquant Snap Configuration:

  1. Enter the Snapchat App ID.
  2. Enter the Endpoint.
  3. Select the Delivery Delay. (optional)
  4. Select the Retry Atempts. (optional)
  5. Click Save.

Amobee Snapchat Configuration:

  1. Select the Delivery Delay. (optional)
  2. Select the Retry Atempts. (optional)
  3. Click Save.

Sprinklr Snapchat Configuration:

  1. Enter the App ID.
  2. Select the Delivery Delay. (optional)
  3. Select the Retry Atempts. (optional)
  4. Click Save.

Brand Networks Configuration:

  1. Select the Delivery Delay. (optional)
  2. Select the Retry Atempts. (optional)
  3. Click Save.

Bidalgo Snapchat Configuration:

  1. Enter the App Name.
  2. Enter the Mob Channel ID.
  3. Select the Delivery Delay. (optional)
  4. Select the Retry Atempts. (optional)
  5. Click Save.
