Creating and Editing App Groups

This feature is available only with paid Kochava accounts. Contact us to learn more.

App Groups provide the ability to band together multiple apps allowing the creation of cross-platform SmartLinks™ for the tracking of paid and owned media campaigns.


App Group User Interface

  1. Log in to Kochava.
  2. Select the desired Account and App.
  3. Select Apps & Assets > App Groups.

Feature Note: To add this menu item to your Favorites Menu, select the “+” sign that appears when you hover over the menu. The Features Menu provides quick access to your most frequently visited areas of the Kochava UI.


App Groups Overview

The App Groups page provides the list of the App Groups which can be ordered by Name, Platform, number of Apps, number of SmartLinks, or Date Created. If an app group action is clicked on, the app details will appear beneath with a list of the associated apps and Twitter Handle.

NOTE: Clicking on View SmartLinks will navigate you away from the App Group page to the SmartLink™ page also located under Links > SmartLinks.

App Group Location and Organization Tools

App Groups can be easily located by utilizing the search and organization tools.

Live Search Tools:

App Groups can be located using the live search tool by typing part of all of the name of the app group.

App Groups can be organized by using one of the following:

Creating App Groups

NOTE: Only one app of each platform may be in an App Group (i.e., One iOS app and/or One Android app).

NOTE: An app may only be part of one App Group.

  1. Click + Add an App Group.
  2. Enter a unique App Group Name.
  3. Select the apps to include in the app group.
  4. Enter a Twitter Handle.
  5. Click Save.

Editing App Groups

  1. Select App Group Tools () > Edit.
  2. Edit the App Group Name. (optional)
  3. Add App(s). (optional)
  4. Update or add the Twitter Handle.
  5. Click Save.
