In order to successfully test install campaigns on a device which has previously installed the application, the test device must be clearlisted within Kochava to ensure that the conversion is not de-duplicated. Clearlisting happens at the account level, rather than the app level, and allows each instance of the device ID to be eligible for attribution.
Test Devices User Interface
- Log in to Kochava.
- Select the desired Account.
- Select Account Options > Test Devices.
Adding a Test Device
- Click + Add A Device.
- Enter a unique Device Name.
- Select the ID Type:

Scrub a Device
Data Needed Before Beginning Process:
- Target App
- Device ID Type

Use Cases for Scrubbing a Device ID from Kochava:

Manual Device Scrub:
The manual process of scrubbing a device ID provides the ability to enter the data for a known device and remove the record of that device.
- Click Scrub.
- Select the Device ID Type.
- Enter the Device ID.
- Select the desired App to remove the device record from. (optional)
- Click Save.
Specific Device Scrub:
- Locate the desired Device.
- Click Test Devices Tools Menu (⋮) > Scrub.
- Select the desired App to remove the device record from. (optional)
- Click Save.
