The Fraud Console Invalid Device ID page provides an in-depth look into the clicks, installs and impressions that contain device ID’s that do not match standard UUID 4 standards.

NOTE: UIDs are written in 5 groups of hexadecimal digits separated by hyphens. The length of each group is: 8-4-4-4-12. UUIDs are fixed in length and the first digit of the third group must be a 4 to denote the UUID version. The first position of the 4th group must be an 8,9,a or b.

The methods used to identify Invalid Device IDs does not flag a device as fraud if it appears to match common hash values like MD5, Sha1, or appear to be an Android ID format.
