The Fraud Console Jailbroken Installs page provides insight into the networks and site_id’s that have an abnormally high percentage of installs coming from devices that have been jailbroken. When high levels of installs associated with Jailbroken devices are present, this can signal manufactured installs as those levels are normally very low within the ecosystem.
Fraud Console User Interface
- Log in to Kochava.
- Select the desired Account.
- Select Fraud Console > Jailbroken Installs.
Fraud Summary Options Menu
The data displayed on the Jailbroken Installs page can be organized by App Name – ID or Network Name – ID. The following options are available:
App Name – ID:
- Select All
- Specific App (Client Dependent)
Network Name – ID:
- Select All
- Specific Network (Client Dependent)
Graph/Chart Tools Menu
Each graph and chart provides a tools menu allowing you to force a refresh, enter fullscreen, or download the associated data in multiple forms.
Force Refresh:
This option provides the ability to retrieve the latest data for the corresponding graph/chart. Once the tool menu has been clicked, a timeframe will be displayed listing the last time the data was fetched. Clicking Force Refresh will only update the associated graph/chart.
Enter Full Screen:
This option provides the ability to increase the size of the graph/chart to display in the entire screen. While in full screen mode, an option is provided to return to the summary page.
Download:
This option provides the ability to download the graph/chart in the following formats:
- Export to .CSV
- Export to Excel
- Download as Image
Fraud Installs
The Fraud Installs section provides a display of the number of installs that have been identified as fraudulent as well as the percentage of all installs that have been identified as fraudulent.
Jailbroken Installs by Network
The Jailbroken Installs by Network table displays the number of installs, fraudulent installs and the percentage of the total installs the fraudulent installs represent broken out by network. The information within the table can be organized by Network Name – ID, Fraud, Total or % Fraud.

Jailbroken Installs by Network Site ID
The Jailbroken Installs by Network Site ID table displays the networks with the largest number of jailbroken installs. The table provides the number of jailbroken installs as well as the percentage of installs the jailbroken installs represent broken out by network. The information in the table can be organized by Network Name – ID, Site ID, Jailbroke Installs, Total or % Jailbroken.
