The Fraud Console Google Referrer Mismatch page provides insights into installs where Google and Kochava do not have matching sources of those installs.
When a download and install of an app occurs from the Google Play Store, Google sends the source of the click that sent the user to the Play store along with the install data. The source of the install as defined by Google is compared to the attributed source from Kochava. When the source listed from Google and Kochava do not match, that install is flagged. Single instances of sources not matching are not considered as fraud, however large numbers of mismatched referrers are listed as fraud.
