Kochava for Agencies

Kochava for Agencies provides an effective means to manage the workflow between marketers, publishers and agencies. Marketers can easily work with a single agency or multiple agencies to run campaigns for a marketer’s app(s) without adding any additional costs to the agency/agencies. When a marketer utilizes a multiple-agency solution, each agency will only have access to campaigns they have created. Various levels of agency integration are available for marketers to select, providing robust permissions to allow agencies to create campaigns with any integrated media partner or have view-only access to specific campaigns.

Setting up a Public Agency Profile (Agency)

In order for a marketer to select an agency to work with, the agency must have a valid account within Kochava with the Agency setting turned ON. In order to turn on the Agency setting, contact your account manager. After this is done, follow the steps below to create your Media Partner Profile.

Media Partner Profile Configuration (Agency):

  1. Log in to Kochava.

  8. Click Save.
  9.

Configuring SAN Integrations with Kochava for Agencies:

In order for Kochava to properly associate installs to their respective campaigns/segments/trackers in the Kochava dashboard, the Tracker ID must be appended to the campaign name within the associated SAN (e.g., Facebook, Google). To setup Twitter campaigns, refer to the steps outlined in the Create Kochava Twitter Campaign support document(attribution windows will not be available to agencies).

BEST PRACTICES: It is recommended that marketers create trackers for each SAN that agencies will be running with (do not assign an agency to this tracker). This tracker will act as a catch-all in the case that any agency you are working with neglected to place their Tracker ID in the SAN dashboard.

    1. Log in to Kochava.
    2. Locate the desired app, Select App Tools>Campaign Manager.
    3.

    4. Locate the desired Campaign, and Tracker. Expand to locate the Tracker ID.
    5.

    6. Copy and add the Tracker ID to the campaign name within the SAN UI.
    7.

NOTE: If agencies have been given access to or created a tracker for a SAN network the above steps need to be taken in order for data to flow to the correct accounts.
